Maxwell has a strong background in building and scaling large-scale B2B organizations, with experience at both Walmart and Amazon.
He is currently the Director and Head of Revenue Operations at Walmart Business, the B2B division of Walmart. In this role, he oversees four key areas: Customer Success & Onboarding, GTM Strategy & Operations, Sales Planning & Enablement, and Sales Data, Technology & Reporting.
Previously, at Amazon, Maxwell led global sales operations for Amazon Business, the B2B arm of Amazon.com. He played a critical role in growing the business from its inception in 2014 to $35 billion in annual revenue by 2023. Under his leadership, his teams developed and managed the programs, tech stack, sales infrastructure, data, tools, and resources used by Amazon’s Global B2B Sales Organization across nine countries (US, CA, FR, IT, ES, UK, DE, JP, & IN). He was instrumental in launching and bringing these markets to life through GTM planning and execution.
Before Amazon, Maxwell was an early team member at LevelUp, a Boston-based startup that raised $40 million between 2012 and 2013 to expand in the restaurant mobile payment and order-ahead industry. LevelUp was later acquired by GrubHub for $400 million.
